Haha I kind of want to buy one or two. With some TLC, they may make profit.

Aaand bookmarked. I convinced my best friend to buy a sweet black one with a spare engine he rebuilt. I look at these an think YEAH LS1 build But why would you the stock turbo 4 rocks balls...I do believe its in my top 3 best sounding 4's. Sooofriggiggin sweet n thumpy with 3" catless pipe & the wheel centers painted black /polished lips. Oh oh oh also most comfy backseat I've ever sat in of any token-coupe-backseat evarrr it was like a leather papazahn I can see ehy Jackie Chan spent so much time back there

From my bit of research, I hear they were plagued with unreliable 80s electronics. Otherwise, it sounds like an amazing buy

True, my friends did gave a buggy idle at first purchase but the way I look at it now after witnessing his whole affair with it n my own with my old dsm...foremost is that its still worth it (dem tires, son!) aand the ancient electronics are a great warm up to car tuning after you remove / tweak some 90's engine gizmos. Those two injector setups are truly something funky. ..

Easy robust machines to understand after that. Those two injector setups are truly something funky. ..

But with 150hp/3000lbs, are they really that fast?

I remember driving the Dodge Conquest brand new. My Dad had a TSi for a demo for a while. It had cool radio controls on the steering wheel, the first I had ever seen. I remeber getting a tape stuck in the tape deck and it took Mopar parts a month to ship us a new one.

I do believe frs/brz owners would be tots jelly if you pulled up in a fresh Starion, you gots a big turbo, big rubber and big fender flares in spades n the cabin is quite airy. The 150 can easily be 300ish after two new injectors (or even just one) and the turbo from an eclipse ooor the whole engine almost as easy as a Honda swap. Man that ft86 platform has spoiled us ...but the starquest came with adjustable dampers how cool is that??...full disclosure I'd replace them immediately my friend's Station had both the rears blown/bottomed out hah

Would anyone buy it when I sold it though? Parts are super duper hard to find

If its practically restored to showroom quality(at least nice upholstery and the front splitter attached), then yeah they somehow always sell fast. This is true theres only like one big aftermarket company for them but from what I remember they'd have everything you'd want to tweak.
